Helping Hands Residential Services
Support that helps adults live the life they choose.
Person-centered community and in-home support, built around the goals of the person receiving it. We serve individuals, families, service coordinators and case managers.
How we work
Person-centered
Dignity and respect
Rooted in the community
Who we are
We start with the person, not the paperwork.
Helping Hands was built to close a gap we kept seeing: people who wanted more independence and more presence in their community, but could not find steady, patient support to get there.
- Support planned around the goals in a person's own service plan
- Consistent staff who show up when they said they would
- Honest answers about what we are authorized to provide
- Families and service coordinators kept in the loop
What we provide
Services built around everyday life.
We list only what we are currently set up to deliver. Anything still in development says so, clearly, next to its name.

Not sure what you need?
Tell us the situation in a few sentences. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and point you elsewhere.
How it works
What happens when you reach out.
No long forms and no medical paperwork to start. A short conversation tells us most of what we need.
-
01
You tell us what you need
A name, a way to reach you, the general area, and a few sentences about the support you are looking for. Nothing medical.
-
02
We talk it through
We contact you the way you asked to be contacted, and we are straight with you about whether we are the right fit.
-
03
We plan it together
If we are a fit, we work with the person, the family and the service coordinator to build a plan that reflects real goals.
Independence is not something a person does alone. Most of our work happens in ordinary places, alongside the people already in someone's life.
How we think about the work
Who we support
Adults working toward more independence.
We work with people who want practical, respectful support in daily life, and with the families and coordinators standing beside them.
Intellectual and developmental disabilities
Support shaped around individual goals, routines and the level of help a person wants.
People needing in-home support
The ordinary parts of a week: the home, appointments, errands and getting out.
Behavioral support needs
Patient, consistent support focused on safety, communication and what is working.
Building independence
Skill building at a realistic pace, so progress holds after the support hours end.
Common questions
Straight answers, before you call.
If your question is not here, ask us directly. We would rather tell you we are not a fit than waste your time.
Ask a question Read all questionsIs Helping Hands a government or state agency?
No. Helping Hands Residential Services LLC is a private service provider. It is not a government agency, a state program, or a nonprofit organization.
Do I need a diagnosis or medical records to contact you?
No. Please do not send diagnoses, medical records, Social Security numbers, Medicaid IDs or detailed health histories through the website. If that information is ever needed, we will use a secure process for it.
Do you provide residential placements?
Not yet. A licensed residential program is part of our long-term plan, and we are not accepting residential placements until it is licensed and operating.
Can a case manager or service coordinator refer someone?
Yes. Service coordinators, case managers, families and individuals can all start a request, and the form asks who is making the request.
What happens after I submit a request?
We contact you the way you asked to be contacted. If we are not the right fit, or the request falls outside what we are authorized to provide, we will tell you directly.
